Hyster H2.5CT: The Introduction
The forklift is among the most compact and versatile power equipment in the material handling industry and for many years have stood as a reliable go to equipment for loading and unloading materials of all shapes and sizes. The machine have turned out to be quite versatile, too as it’s now able to operate on a variety of setups and working conditions that include tight spaces and higher grounds. In today’s review, those characteristics will be challenged and are expected to be put on display in our review of the Hyster H2.5CT Standard Forklift.
Hyster H2.5CT: Key Features
Mazda 2.2 LP Engine
You can’t discount the impact of a highly qualified and reliable engine in any power equipment in the market. So having a competitive Mazda 2.2LP engine on the H2.5CT gives a more solid repertoire for the Hyster standard forklift. Plus, the engine is said to help improve fuel economy, going as far as reducing consumption by as much as 12% compared to other leading competitors.
Stable and mobile
The compact H2.5CT offers what the manufacturer refers to as the Hyster Stability Mechanism™ that aims to minimise forklift sway during turns, which in turn also improves lateral stability and balance, especially when traversing on uneven and rough surfaces. Our short run with the machine also produced a pretty good impression as the forklift seemed very easy to manage and surprisingly lighter to operate than we initially expected.
Comfort and accessibility
Not a lot of people expect much out of their compact equipment in terms of operator comfort. Which is more often than not the wrong way to go about it as you’re essentially setting up yourself to accept whatever’s being thrown out there. The good thing though is that the H2.5CT comes in with a good set of standard features and setups such as the simplified electrical system, low step height, full suspension seat, and the forklift’s high visibility overhead guard which altogether improves user experience and comfort.
Easy to maintain and durable
The H2.5CT also has a cowl-to-counterweight access that lets easy service access to the equipment’s key serviceable parts while also minimising maintenance time and costs. In addition, the design element of the Hyster forklift reduces the noise and vibration and better durability. To add, the Eco-elo fuel saving mode comes in as standard and does the trick of reducing fuel consumption by as much as 12%.

Hyster H2.5CT: The Verdict
The Hyster H2.5CT Standard Forklift comes in as a great continuation for the brand’s tradition of creating high quality, durable, and versatile machinery that has helped Hyster develop a strong connection with its client over the years. The H2.5CT doesn’t offer any groundbreaking specs or features but it certainly adds dynamic to the extensive forklift line of Hyster. Alternatively, you can opt for a used Hyster forklift like the one’s on Starline Forklifts website in case you’re working on a budget or is more willing to spend the extra bucks somewhere else. But if you’ve got everything set up and ready to purchase a brand new forklift truck to bolster your lineup, the H2.5CT can clearly serve as a good and long-term investment for your company.
