Many distributing centers, manufacturers, logistics entities, and warehouses, among others, invest on forklifts in an effort to lift, stack, or position certain commodities. For this reason, Magline decided to tap these markets in their newly-released forklift: the LiftPlus. This particular model offers a myriad of features that conventional forklifts carry. But the difference is, it’s smaller, more cost-efficient, and more effective.
The LiftPlus is actually a combination transporter, stacker, and positioner that utilises an electric screw drive system. This, to achieve quieter and smoother operations. To add, it has a lifting capacity of up to 350 pounds. This added versatility over conventional forklift trucks is essential, according to Stewart Burton, general manager of applied research and development at Magline, “The LiftPlus has four wheels, so you don’t have to worry about tipping it back. It has 10-inch disc brakes, so if you’re unloading, it won’t scoot away from you. It lifts, so once you’ve transported materials where they need to go, you can lift it into place for offloading and to load,” he said.
This particular Magline forklift also has a wide array of attachments that can turn the mentioned equipment into a mobile workstation. Furthermore, the LiftPlus compared to several forklifts that are out on the market, this one is a, say, game changer when it comes to working in a crowded workspace. It can easily fit through a standard 28-inch doorway and can be folded for easy transport when not in use. Its rear rollers aid when it comes to ensuring easy storage, even in tight spaces. Also, operating it is a cinch and almost anyone can use it.
In line with the release of the Magline LiftPlus, the company will exhibit the said forklift and other models at the National Ergonomics Conference and ErgoExpo at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The event will be on the 15th to the 18th of November and their booth will be number 538.
